The Xilontla farm, located in the Veracruz municipality of Cosautlán de Carvajal, began its planning in 2018 when the property was acquired. Later, the producers set out to select the varieties they wanted to cultivate and started with the nursery. The farm, covering 85 hectares with 40 hectares planted with coffee, is situated at an altitude of 1350 meters. It features the ruins of an abandoned hacienda, which dates back to around 1850. It is said that an entire community once lived there, but due to earthquakes and access problems, it was eventually abandoned.
